Ham and Cheese Chicken Breast

4 skinless boneless chicken breast
4 teaspoons garlic powder
salt and pepper
4 tablespoons pure maple syrup
4 pre-package ham slices
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
4 tablespoons paprika
Preheat oven to 400.
Cut 4 slits into each chicken breast. Sprinkle garlic powder into each slit, than seasoned with salt and pepper. Drizzle pure maple syrup over chicken. Place ham on top of each chicken breast. Top with cheese and paprika. Cook about 20 to 30 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink.
