Grilled Potatoes

The recipe I have for you today is from the one and only, Paula Deen. I love watching her show. I love her laugh. Her humor makes me laugh. I have her cookbooks and often visit her website. She has some of the best recipes.

The grilled potatoes are easy to make. Wonderful buttery taste. You should try these potatoes. So good! This recipe is a keeper. The only thing I did wrong, I should have grilled more potatoes. My family devoured all the grilled potatoes. Next time I'll make more.

I love potatoes. Are you a potato lover?

Grilled Potatoes
Recipe adapted from pauladeen.com

2 large potatoes, cut into 3/4 inch slices
4 tablespoons melted butter

1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder

Directions:
In small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, white pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Set aside.

Grease and preheat grill.

Boil potatoes for 6 minutes. Drain potatoes in colander. Place potato slices on grill. Using a pastry brush, apply butter and sprinkle each slice with season mixture. Grill potatoes fro 5 minutes, flip slices, repeat with butter and season mixture. Cook until grilled through. Enjoy!

  2. Creative idea here. No sense in cooking potatoes indoors while you are grilling outside! Not sure what it is, but grilled things taste so much better. I am sure these are toasty and delicious. Thanks for sharing this one!
