  11. I've always been of the opinion that food doesn't have to look like it belongs in an art gallery to be delicious...the taste is where it's at. And casseroles definitely fall into the taste-good category, so to heck with what it looks like! :)

  19. One secret for a great looking casserole is to put it under the broiler for just a few minutes at the end of baking to get a nice, brown top. I bet this tasted great! I have an "Easy Cheesy Chicken Casserole" on my blog is anyone is interested. :)

  26. When I first read your ingredients, I wondered what kind of canned chicken you were using in the recipe...and dahhh, finally realized it's those yummy chickens just like the tuna in the cans.

BTW-my spoiled kitties love those chickens in the cans as well, just like the tuna, and the sardines.
Now, I'm really getting off the subject. Great quick and easy dish, that certainly I would enjoy, with the rice and cheese combo, baked and
wait till it gets bubbly, nice and brown.
    Thanks for sharing, Christine:DDD

  29. Christine, I tried to comment yesterday but Blogger wasn't cooperating. We love simple dishes like this. I brown canned chicken in a fry pan and then add spices, cheddar & eggs for a nice omelet. We used canned cream of chicken soup for baking boneless, skinless chicken breasts...with some additional spices for a little more flavor. Thanks for this idea! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
