Homemade Shake n Bake

Back in the day, did your mom use Shake n Bake? My mom did. Shake n Bake was and still is about convenience, and really easy. Place seasoning mixture into a bag, add pork chop or chicken, shake, until evenly coated. Place on sheet pan, and bake in oven, until cooked through. It's that easy.

Homemade Shake n Bake
Recipe by Christine Lamb @ Christine's Pantry - 2018

Ingredients:
1 cup bread crumbs
1 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
salt and pepper
1 teaspoon smoked sweet paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon toasted chopped onions
1 teaspoon roasted garlic herb seasoning
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Directions:
Preheat oven 400 degrees.

In large bowl, combine bread crumbs and seasonings, making sure no clumps remain from oil. Place shake n bake in resealable bag. Add 1 pork chop at a time, shake well, until chop is coated well. Shake off excess breading. Place on baking sheet lined with tin foil. Repeat with remaining pork chops. Bake 15 to 18 minutes, until cooked through.

Until next time,
Christine
