Devilled Sausage

This classic meal is perfect with potatoes. 

Devilled Sausage
Recipe by Christine Lamb - 2016

Ingredients: 
5 italian mild sausage
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 large onions, cut in half than slices
2 cups beef broth
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons tomato paste
salt and pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper

Directions:
Prick sausage, place in skillet over medium heat. Cook until brown all over about 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat oil in deep skillet over medium low heat, add onions, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper. Cook 10 to 12 minutes until tender. 

Stir in remaining ingredients except sausage, simmer for 10 minutes. Add brown sausage and simmer additional 10 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning if desired.
