Smoky Chipotle and Pasta

We love pasta, they're cheap, versatile and best of all they are super delicious. Grab some crusty bread and plate of this pasta and sit down and enjoy a tasty meal with the family.

Smoky Chipotle and Pasta
Recipe by Christine Lamb - 2016

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
2 cups fusilli pasta
1 medium white onion, chopped
salt and pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon minced garlic
3 chipotle peppers in adobe sauce, pureed
1 (8 oz,) can tomato sauce
1 (14.5 oz.) can fire roasted dice tomatoes


Directions:
Brown meat in skillet over medium heat. Add onions, salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, garlic and pureed chipotle peppers in adobe sauce, stirring and cook about 4 to 5 until onions are tender.

Add tomato sauce and dice tomatoes, stir in cooked pasta, cover and simmer 20 minutes.
